Petition Carriers Blitz State For Heidepriem – The Numbers Are Pouring In!

I want to take a moment to thank the scores of volunteers from all across South Dakota who have been helping me circulate petitions and collect hundreds of petition signatures over these past few weeks.

There are so many people that have donated their valuable time and who have collected petition signatures from literally every corner of South Dakota in order to get my name on the ballot.   I would never be able to name all of them but here are a few of the many who my staff has taken to call “Heidepriem’s Heroes” for their tireless efforts.  They include: Amanda Mack, Ed Harvey, Zach Nistler, Ryan Rolfs, Lisa and Rich Engels, Cathy Avery, Tiffany Moore Campbell, Silvia Christen, Vinnie Gormley, and Suzi Frioli.  Thank you for the help!

I also want to thank all of my fellow legislators and all county party leadership for carrying my petitions.  As usual, you have done terrific work.

Finally, I want to thank the hundreds of South Dakotans who have graciously signed my petitions proving once again the power and strength of our great Democracy.  We would not have been able to do this without you!

And even though we have collected hundreds of petition signatures, the official deadline for turning petitions into the Secretary of State’s Office is not until March 30.  So, if you still have petitions out, I would ask that you work hard to fill them and then send them to my campaign office no later than March 22nd so we have time to get them to Pierre for the final official count.  The address to send them to at my office is:
