Dear Fellow Resident of District 13,
South Dakota's pioneer families built this great state by working hard and
helping each other. That's what makes watching our state legislature so frustrating. They've forgotten the lessons of our ancestors.
The news we hear out of Pierre every winter is about controversial social issues where no consensus exists that only serves to divide our great state. The
legislature has been spinning their wheels on these controversies instead of working to
solve real issues that affect all South Dakotans everyday.
I want to help our state return to those values of hard work and determined cooperation -- by
listening more and shouting less. I'm convinced we can do better by
going back to work for the people of District 13 on the daily issues that can make our city and state even stronger. I hope to meet with you soon your door step to talk about getting back to work for South Dakota!
Sincerely,

Scott Heidepriem
